The Nikon D70 may
be built better but
the XT has better
image quality and
lower noise.

And you have the
option of getting
a battery Grip
XT can be kinda small
so with this you can
take better vertical
shots and stabalize
your camera better.

You can shoot all day
when you add two
batteries.
A great all around
lens that can shoot
in low light and take
amazing portraits.

Excellent quality,
pro quality lens.23
Gives you an equivilent
of 16-35mm.

Get that photojournal-
istic look with this lens.

A must for a pro.
A must for a pro.

One of  Canon's best
lenses. If you got an
extra $400 get the IS
version.

A must for reception
or event photography

3
One of the best "point and
shoot" cameras on the
market.

Literally the size of a credit
card but 1/2" thick. 2" LCD
screen in nice too.

Takes great movies.

Rugged metal case.

Dollar for dollar the
best pro quality
camera. I like to use
two of the same type
camera so I can buy
two of these for the
price of one MKII.123
Gives you a more
stable grip when
taking pictures.
The new 580ex is
probably a tad better
but also a $100 more.

If cash is not an issue
buy the 580ex. If you
need to buy more than
one strobe, like myself
(I use three) then the
550ex is a good
solution. When I buy
three, I saved $300.

If you own a DSLR,
you need a decent
flash.

This one is great at
a reasonable price.
For $70 this is great
lens for portraits! and
for low light situations.

It will cost you
$200 more for the
F1.4 but it will  let
in almost 2x the
amount of available
light.
A great printer for quick
snaps from your Point
and Shoot digital.

Great for scrapbooker. Fade
resistant, unlike Canon
inkjet printers.

I like this over Epson
because the unit cost per
4x6 is a lot
less, only 24 cents.

Great to take to parties,
very, very small footprint.
A poor man's
85mm F1.2 but at
1/4 the price.

Great for low light
situations or
awesome portraits.23
I shoot jpg so a couple of these and I'm good for the whole day. I took this generic memory card with me and it worked fine. I actually got it for $89 after rebate. You may want to check for rebates too.
Great "one lens fits
all" amazing range.

Decent quality, for a
pro, this lens is good
for back up purposes.

Great for family pics,
etc.

A poor man's G6.
Sensor size is twice
the size of a SD400
for superior image
quality. Able to
attach wireless flash
for better indoor pics.
Can use add on lenses
for more wide or
tele options.

It also can act as a photo

your camera, no computer
necessary. Great when
traveling. Note: upload

not be used for pro

A poor man's Epson
2400. Great BW prints

13x19 prints.123
